OUR PRACTICE

Our approach is practical and totally focused on our clients' business. We seek to resolve their legal demands effectively, monitor the risks they are exposed to and develop creative and effective solutions to complex problems. We are highly committed to the technical quality of our work.

We seek a direct, simple and constant communication.

SCOPE

Our firm is specialized in Infrastructure and Public Law, providing both advisory and litigation services.

We are ready to support clients in many regulatory or private law demands, including:

  • Participation in bidding procedures or expressions of interest (PMIs);

  • Obtaining licenses and regulatory authorizations;

  • Structuring of concession or PPP projects;

  • Corporate affairs;

  • Financing;

  • Management of public contracts, including the prepartion of claims (such as economic-financial rebalancing); and

  • Administrative representation before regulatory agencies, Granting Authority, and Audit Courts.

The solid experience of our professionals ensures clients receive specialized legal advice tailored to the specificities of regulated infrastructure sectors, particularly in the fields of electric power and basic sanitation, where the firm has recognized expertise.

In the case of the electric power sector, for example, we work throughout the life cycle of energy generation, trade, transmission, and distribution projects, including due diligence and M&As, preparation of key implementation contracts, PPAs, and participation in regulated and free market auctions.

In the sanitation sector, we work in the areas of water supply and wastewater management, drainage, and solid waste. Our practice covers the entire spectrum — from the legal and regulatory modeling of projects and participation in pre-contractual stages (such as market sounding, public consultation, and bidding), to engagement with regulatory agencies, Granting Authority, and other stakeholders throughout contract execution.
